Italian and Japanese Fusion? Why Not?

Rice & Dough

It’s not every day that you get to have Italian food and Japanese food at the same time. Recently, my friends and I discovered a restaurant at the Venice Grand Canal mall in Taguig. We’ve never heard of a place that combines Japanese and Italian so I was intrigued to try it out. They had an interesting menu such as a truffle bacon cheeseburger sushi, in between sushi rice and drizzled with truffle oil. There was even crispy nori chicken wings, which is the first I’ve ever heard or seen it.

My friends and I ordered a bit of everything. It was very exciting trying out something new. Our tummies were satisfied with each dish as they were very filling. I want to go back and try out other dishes, as they also had pizzas which we didn’t get to order.

Thanks to Metrodeal we got to experience what Italian and Japanese food would taste like together at Rice & Dough and at a great discount too.
